Art, brunch and good cause by Laura Kiritsy
Editor-in-chiefThursday Nov 13, 2008 If you’re looking for a little something to wind down your weekend of Prop. 8 protesting, we highly recommend the Sunday fundraiser for Driving Equality, a road trip that local activist Chris Mason plans to make across the Lower 48 to promote LGBT equality.
Here is all the relevant info:
A Benefit for Driving Equality and Viewing of the Private Art Collection of Paul Brown
Driving Equality is a trek across America to raise awareness of the various forms of discrimination faced by LGBT people in each state of the nation. Highlighting the differences in rights, laws, and amendments between the states will shed light on the current social standing of queer individuals today.
Brunch Benefit 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2008 Home of Paul Brown R.S.V.P Chris Mason 978-729-5926 (Chris@DrivingEquality.com) All guests must RSVP in order to comply with building security.
A donation of $25, $50, $100, $250, or $500 would be greatly appreciated.
We don’t know what Mr. Brown’s art collection looks like, but we do know that Mason will make a fine ambassador for LGBT equality. Just check out some of the photos of him in action. This guy walks his talk.
