David Brown and Benjamin Perkins were married on August 9th, in Bridgewater, NH, in a ceremony overlooking the beautiful Newfound Lake. Earlier that morning, the grooms invited guests to join them in their “Wedding Dash,” a 3.4 mile run—approximately 30 people participated.
David and Benjamin are avid runners—they’ve run the Chicago, Boston, Niagara marathons, many 5Ks, 10Ks, and half-marathons and are training for their Honeymoon Marathong— the Marine Corps Marathon in October in Washington, DC.
The two started dating after officially meeting on Fenway Community Health’s Men’s Event planning committee. Benjamin is The Associate Director for Community Engagement at The Fenway Institute. David is a StormTeam 5 meteorologist and reporter for WCVB-TV Channel 5.
