This year Tony Williams Dance Center is especially proud to present the first ever Urban Nutcracker Comes OUT on December 9, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.

In honor of our LGBT friends and family, this special performance will feature local LGBT groups, performers and supporters. This truly revolutionary performance is an extension of Urban Nutcracker's dedication to Equality and every member of our diverse community.

Urban Nutcracker Comes OUT! will feature La Cage aux Folles performers and Massachusetts natives, Matt Anctil and Todd Lattimore!

Born in Southbridge, MA,  Matt Anctil's training includes Debbie Sichols School of Dance, the Worcester Performing Art School and the dance division of Burncoat High School (as a student of Tony Williams), in Worcester, Ma; Boston Youth Moves, in Boston, Jacob's Pillow and the Ailey School in New York City.

Matt has performed with Chet Walker's Walker Dance, Broadway Cares annual event: Broadway Bares, Radio City Christmas Spectacular and in Anthony Williams'Urban Nutcracker. He was in the Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles (Angelique) and is currently on a national tour with the show.

Todd Lattimore graduated from the Boston Conservatory of Music in 1998.  Todd has been performing the dual roles of Lily Whiteass and the Waiter in the recent Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles.  Todd developed his Lily Whiteass character while performing as a drag queen in Boston.

An after party, hosted by Gay Beer Club and open to the public will be held after the show at 7:00 p.m. at Bella Luna in Jamaica Plain.
