The Roxbury International Film Festival (RIFF) will be screening Marriage Equality: Byron Rushing and The Fight for Fairness. Directed by award-winning filmmaker Thomas Allen Harris, this project connects the Black Civil Rights Movement with the Lesbian and Gay Marriage Equality movement. It explores Rep. Byron Rushing's work (D-Mass.), a straight, black politician, on behalf of gay marriage.  Â
The film will screen on Friday, July 29th at 7:30pm at the Museum of Fine Arts and will be followed by a Q&A with the director. The film festival runs July 28 - July 31. For more information on special guests and other festival events visit: Â
