Welcome to Bay Windows, the largest and only publication in New England serving the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender communities. For 25 years Bay Windows has been the publication readers choose for news that matters.

The gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community of New England is a vibrant and diverse group with formidable buying power. Massachusetts is the birthplace of same-sex marriage in the United States. Our region has been on the vanguard of the GLBT civil rights movement for decades. According to the Gay Market Express, Massachusetts is one of the top 10 markets for gay and lesbians.

Surveys show that advertising efforts to the GLBT community is worth the investment, with over 94% saying they would purchase a product advertised in the gay media. Local, weekly newspapers and web sites are an essential link to this community. Many advertisers in Bay Windows have been advertising weekly for over fifteen years.

The GLBT community is on the move to suburbs across the region. Bay Windows reaches this growing segment of our community with an aggressive strategy which includes free distribution at area supermarkets and vending boxes at public transportation stops. Bay Windows distribution is more that 33% larger than any other publication serving the GLBT community. Bay Windows is one of America's oldest and most respected papers serving the LGBT community. Bay Windows has brought its readers award winning articles and editorials on everything from the AIDS crisis to the Vermont civil union and Massachusetts marriage battles. Bay Windows publishes the largest Gay and Lesbian Wedding Planning Guide in the United States, It Takes Two. It Takes Two won the New England Press Association award for Best Advertising Supplement.

Bay Windows has won many first place awards for excellence in editorial, news and arts coverage from the New England Press Association.

Because Bay Windows is an important part of the community, we sponsor many events and organizations each year. These events provide a great opportunity for businesses to expand their outreach and support of the community.

Bay Windows is also a charter member of the National Gay Newspaper Guild, whose readership is 170% more likely to have a net worth of over $1,000,000 than the general population.
