The Queerness of Michael Jackson

Man in the mirror?

Thanks Sal DiMasi; Bob DeLeo, someone’s watching you

I’ll leave others to examine the activities that have led to House Speaker Sal DiMasi’s resignation, but, once again, our community owes thanks to a lawmaker who has resigned under a cloud.

Read past the headlines on Senator Wilkerson’s record

Elections are funny things. Some people pay attention. Some don’t.

Enough is enough: It’s time for Senator Wilkerson to go

Electoral inertia, otherwise known as the power of incumbency, is massive. Rebecca, an early supporter of Sen. Clinton, spoke as passionately about her candidate of choice as I did about Sen. Obama, of whom I have been unequivocally and unabashedly supportive.

HIV takes its toll on the transgender community

We at Cambridge Cares About AIDS (CCA) appreciated, professionally and personally, the article on how the HIV/AIDS epidemic continues to impact our communities ("Far from the finish line," May 29); specifically we echo the need for advocacy and innovative approaches with gay and bisexual men and injection drug users.

California is second, but size does matter

California’s economy is ranked in the top 10 of the world. It has the largest population in the United States. I expected more.

Marriage - again

California, what great company you are in. Our courts have blazed the path. Massachusetts and California - two down and forty-eight to go. Bi-coastal dignity is not enough. The promise of liberty and equality for all means just that - for all.
