Kathy Griffin to grace ’Law & Order: SVU’ as a lesbian by Hannah Clay Wareham
Associate EditorFriday Nov 13, 2009 Comedienne and friend-to-the-gays Kathy Griffin will join the cast of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for the filming of their Feb. 10 episode.
Griffin has been cast as a lesbian activist.
Her guest spot on the hit crime drama will come just after the release of "Kathy Griffin: She’ll Cut a Bitch," a DVD of her sixth Bravo stand-up special, due out Jan. 12 of next year. The segment was a 2009 Emmy-nominee for Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special.
