Chaz Bono to write memoir by Hannah Clay Wareham
Staff ReporterWednesday Sep 23, 2009 Chaz Bono, child of Cher and Sonny Bono, recently went public regarding his transition from female to male, and plans to release a tell-all memoir describing the details of his transition.
"Chaz is embarking on a difficult journey, but one that I will support," Cher told People magazine in June, when news of Chaz’s transition was made public. "I respect the courage it takes to go through this transition in the glare of public scrutiny, and although I may not understand, I will strive to be understanding."
Chaz (formerly Chastity) Bono’s memoir, ’Coming Clean,’ is expected to hit bookshelves in spring of 2011.
