Xfinity launches LGBT On Demand

In celebration of Pride Month

As of June 1, Comcast’s Xfinity TV recognizes LGBT Pride Month with a special collection of LGBT programming, including award-winning movies, biographical films, documentaries, TV shows, specials and interviews. The collection will be available to all Xfinity TV customers across Xfinity On Demand, XfinityTV.com, Xfinity TV on Xbox 360 and Xfinity.com, now through June 30th, after which a new destination folder will become a permanent part of the Xfinity On Demand menu.


 “Our LGBT Pride collection celebrates work that has been recognized by GLAAD for outstanding content for and about the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community,” said Klayton Fennell, Vice President of Government Affairs and member of Comcast’s Internal Diversity Council. “With diverse TV line-ups and special programming, we offer the best multicultural video experience across screens and devices, and we plan to bring our customers even more choices and ways to watch throughout the coming year.”


 Xfinity TV’s LGBT Pride Offering includes many Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Award-winning and nominated movies, biographical films, documentaries, popular TV series, and specials.
