I don't know how other individuals feel who have gone through the process of seeking to be the gender that they wanted. One thing is clear that those of us who have striven to pass through a process to be a woman or a man, to be called a 'tranny' or a 'tranny chick' is demeaning. Gay men and women would do well to understand that the word trans means a temporary process and not a permanent identity. Get rid of the term once and for all. Once we have completed the process we are ether lesbians, or heterosexual, or gay men. Please don't label us as trans.
