On Saturday December 1st, AIDS Action and Eastern Bank hosted a World AIDS Day event at the Prudential Center in Boston. Also attending was Jim Morgrage from Harbor to the Bay to present AIDS Action with their 2012 check.
In recognition of the day, the top of the Prudential building was lit in red to remember those who have passed and to continue to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.


A number of representatives from other agencies were on hand for the event. Justin Holmes from the City of Boston reads a proclamation from Mayor Menino for World AIDS Day.

Boston poet and AIDS advocate Phil Robinson shared words of comfort and issued a call to action.
