On Thursday, September 20, The History Project presented the History Maker award to Grace Sterling Stowell,Executive Director of The Boston Alliance of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (BAGLY).


The Lavender Rhino Award is an honor presented to an emerging activist or organization whose impact on the local GLBT communities deserves recognition. This year activist and community-leader Chris Mason, founder of Join the Impact MA, the Driving Equality film project, and the non-profit organization Progressive Approach, Inc. was honored.
