Boston Prime Timers celebrate 25th anniversary
BY PRIME TIMERS | SEPTEMBER 21, 2012

Boston Prime Timers celebrated their 25th Anniversary Sunday, August 12th aboard the cruise ship Marika out of Rowes Wharf in Boston. 119 members and guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner, cocktails, the music of TNY Entertainment and dancing. In addition there was a photographic tribute to the BPT. President Steve Vorenberg served as the Master of Ceremonies. Speakers included Jullieanne Doherty, Boston’s Gay Liaison, who presented us with a Citation from the Mayor and City and another Citation for Woody Baldwin, our founder. Dick Bourbeau told us of another Citation coming from the State of Massachusetts. Rob Howard, President of the World Wide Prime Timers, spoke and gave us a lovely crystal commemoration from their organization to recognize our achievement. There was also a film from Woody Baldwin congratulating us on our milestone. The film was great and brought many to tears.

A Certificate of Appreciation was presented to former Board Member, Joe McGrath for his efforts for the organization. Certificates are also being given to former Board Members Jim Buckley and Mitch Drucker for their efforts. Kudos to Board Member, Harry Fullerton, who did so much to organize this great event. www.bostonprimetimers.org/
